Gallery Carre is the online archive of French photographer Didier Carre. Carre was born in 1959 in Paris and is one of the most accomplished black and white erotic photographers. A quick look through the content available here is enough to convince any visitor of his mastery of the art form and his talent when it comes to selecting models and then bringing their beauty to the highest levels in still photography.

At the time of this review Gallery Carre showcases around 80 models, all of which are absolutely beautiful, shapely and graceful in front of the camera lens. You can get to know each of them quite well within the model index, where you can browse their thumbnails and read biographies on each of them, as well as access all of the galleries and movies in which they appear.

Film is not the focus of Carre’s work but there are 40 movies to enjoy at the time of this review. These are also black and white and can be enjoyed in a wide range of media formats that include: Windows Media, QuickTime and DivX. There are short but come in excellent quality playback. The action is softcore, with lots of posing and toying with their pussies, either with fingers or dildos of various compositions. There is also a soundtrack that is either great or a bummer depending on how you feel about musical masturbation.

The pictures are where Carre really shines. There are over 1,600 galleries to enjoy and you can access them directly through the “Galleries” link at the top of the page. Photos come in small, medium and large sizes, the biggest being over 1800px wide. The quality is exceptional as you might expect, allowing for prolonged study of the most subtle details of the beautiful women’s bodies. There is another region of the site worth exploring under the “Backstage” link at the top. These are collections of photos with a large article explaining the type of gear used and lots of art talk. Other extras at Gallery Carre include fine art prints that can be ordered, e-cards and wallpapers. There are no bonus sites, unfortunately, but the price of this high-class site is significantly lower than others in the niche. Fans of artistic nude photographer will find a lot to enjoy here and will find the site worth every penny of the membership fee.
